Throughout its over twenty-year history, IDC Group has an impressive history and achievement.

In November 1992, Hanoi Information Development Company (IDC Pte.Ltd) was established. At that moment, IT industry is new in Vietnam, but Mr. Nguyen Kien Cuong, the founder, realised the potential for a boom in the future

In 1995, IDC has become to an importer of equipments of many foreign manufacturers, distributors. This set the stage for explosive growth in the future.

With constant development, IDC Viet Tri branch was established in 1996, which prelude to a wide distribution network throughout the Northern part of Vietnam.

We have developed constantly distribution network in Central & Southern part of Vietnam, IDC Saigon was established in 1998 with a high expectation.

With a dream of building up a Vietnamese brand computer for the Vietnamese, IDC’s leaders decided to acquire Mekong Green Company in 2000. In the same time IDC became IDC Group

We had got a lot of success when Mekong Green achieved ‘The most popular IT product’ Award by PC World Vietnam Magazine in 4 consecutive years.

At that moment, IDC achieved a lot of Awards, including Top 5 ITC Vietnam in many 4 consecutive years, Golden award for the highest hardware revenue, ISO 9001:2000 from BVQI…

In 2003, Mekong Green achieved Viet Golden Star Award. After that Mekong Green achieved this award twice again, in 2006 & 2009. Mekong Green is a part of IDC Group in contributing significantly to the IT development of Vietnam.

In 2004, T&G JSC (renamed IDC Trading later) was established. Its business activities involve providing IT product, supporting commercial project, providing commercial services, promoting & introducing products and trading different kinds of products all over the world.

Because of IDC’s endeavor the Prime Minister gave an award – for the “Contribution to the Economy Development” – in 2005 for IDC. Three years later, in 2008, IDC Group was honored the ‘Labor Medal’ by Prime Minister of Vietnam.

In 2008, Mr. Nguyen Kien Cuong, Chairman of the Management Board, achieved the ‘Excellent Leader’ Award from Vietnamese Retailing Association.

IDC Group also achieved ‘The best business for developing & organising distribution system’

In 2010, IDC Group achieved ‘Top ICT Vietnam’ award from HCM Council. This award encouraged IDC Group in reaching other higher goals in the future. In the same time 2010, T&G renamed to IDC Trading corporation

During 2011-2012, IDC invested to build  IDC white house with french facade and luxury interior in Phan Dinh Phung Street, Hanoi capital.

In 2013, IDC White House established with business of real estates services such as: serviced apartments, villa, resorts for rent inmany cities of Vietnam, United Kingdom, Germany.

In the same year, IDC Group received one more TOP 5 Vietnam ICT company.

2014, Became exclusively distributor of Server Dell and Ups Ares is very important step in development of IDC. We can open new Markets and make our higher position in Vietnam and regional markets.

In 2015 With our non stop effort for Vietnamese Information technology segment: Fujitsu Japan appointed IDC as a impoter and distributor for Printer, Dell USA - for Tape, switch, storage.

Hitachi Japan also chose IDC as strategic partner to develop Vietnam market.
